About Future Food Asia 2026

Ten years ago, when foodtech meant little more than fast-food delivery apps and agtech was dismissed as “not for Asia,” we took a different bet. We believed that Asia could, and would, shape the future of food. Eleven years after our maiden agrifoodtech investment, that conviction has only grown stronger.

The world has changed, and so have we. COVID forced everyone to rethink food security and resilience. It reminded us that fixing our food system was never going to be easy — and why should it be? If it were simple, someone would have solved it already.

Today, we fully embrace the complexity of the challenge — from soil and ocean to gut. We see how agrifood innovation overlaps with the broader bioeconomy, regenerative practices, and circularity. And we welcome that complexity, because it’s where the breakthroughs lie.

Future Food Asia has never been about chasing hype cycles or vanity metrics. We’ve stayed focused on real conversations, real commitments, and real impact. Innovation doesn’t stop at startups; it requires systems, policies, and communities that work together.
